Point Pleasant Beach, NJ (PRWEB) May 04, 2012
The much-anticipated launch of the New Jersey Shore-based East Coast Beer Co.?s third beer is upon its fans. Co-owners John ?Merk? Merklin and Brian Ciriaco announced today that they are adding yet a third craft beer to their portfolio, Beach Haus Kick Back Ale – an American Amber Ale that will interest fans of the American pale ale, but offer more body, caramel richness and a balance more towards malt than hops. The company?s latest brew will be available wherever Beach Haus beers are available.
?This is really exciting for us,? said Merk. ?Many craft drinkers look towards Ale categories when making a selection. We are happy that we can now offer a beer to satisfy their palates.?
The American amber ale, known simply as Red Ales in some regions, are beers that were first popularized in the hop-loving northern California and the Pacific Northwest areas before spreading nationwide. Keeping with the rich amber hues and hop flavor of its predecessor, Beach Haus Kick Back Ale has a moderate hop taste from a selection of American hop varieties balanced by slightly stronger malt and caramel flavor. It is a full body beer with a smooth finish and easy-going demeanor that is satisfying and undemanding to the everyday beer drinker.
?It?s a great addition to Winter Rental Black Lager and our Classic American Pilsner as well, but has a unique flavor all to its own ? best yet we think it is something beer fans will definitely enjoy drinking,? added Brian. ?We are pumped for the launch of this beer ? the packaging is reflective of the beer?s spirit and it?s the perfect complement to putting your feet up and unwinding.?
Similar to its brother brews, Beach Haus Kick Back Ale has an ABV of 5.5% and is sold throughout New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, New York and wherever else Beach Haus brands are sold.
Other Beach Haus brands include their flagship brew, Beach Haus Classic American Pilsner, which is a refreshing classic American pilsner that is reminiscent of the old German-American style of brewing. The full-flavored, pre-prohibition style Pilsner uses all-American ingredients including Mt. Hood Hops, and is brewed to perfection reflecting a unique taste and style of the Jersey Shore.
The second brew, Beach Haus Winter Rental, launched in October of 2011. This seasonal lager that was inspired by the German Schwarzbier ? a hearty, yet soft and elegant brew that brings comfort to the late fall and winter months, and is a darker beer with roasted malts and a hint of chocolate. Less hoppy than its predecessor, Beach Haus Classic American Pilsner, Winter Rental is yet another full-flavored, accessible style in the East Coast Beer Co. portfolio.
